Service Description:
We have places available from April 2024, and are also currently taking bookings for September 2024 and into 2025 for babies and under 2''s. In order to avoid disappointment please call for up to date information on vacancies & charges, and to book a visit. We will be delighted to meet you, and show you round our nursery, where you will see us in action, meet the team and be able to ask any questions you may have. We ask all visitors to observe our hand hygiene measures in order to avoid the spread of infections. Our morning sessions run from 8-1pm, and our afternoon sessions from 1 - 6pm. A full day session is 8- 6pm. Daisy Chain is closed one week between Christmas and New Year and for bank holidays.
We have two well equipped baby rooms (under 2yrs) that can accommodate up to nine babies each, a tweenie room (2-3yr olds) which can cater for up to 20 children, and a pre-school department (3-5yr olds), which is geared up to preparing our children for the transition to school. and can accommodate up to 16 children. In addition, we have a well equipped outdoor play area, which includes a range of large outdoor toys and vehicles, sand and water play areas, mud kitchen and a raised garden bed for our budding gardeners. We have a committed team of well qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioners (levels 3, 4, 5 and 6), and in addition we now have a level 3 apprentice working with us. The Owner/Manager has an Early Years Teaching Degree (B Ed) in Early Years and shares the day to day running of the nursery with the Deputy Manager.

Our SENCO is fully qualified, and leads and monitors provision for any child who has special educational needs and/or a disability, so that they can fully access our provision and reach their potential. She also liaises with outside professionals in order to support our children.
Fees will be available on viewing - under and over 2s are charged at different rates to reflect the higher staffing ratios required for the care of babies.
