Service Description

Service Description:
Education at St Nicks offer a range of clubs and groups for children and their families. We love capturing your imagination with fun activities, inspiring you to connect with the natural world and helping you to live more sustainably.

•Nature Adventurers: Join our monthly Saturday afternoon club and take part in games, crafts and challenges in our special woodland area. We learn about nature and how to protect it, build dens, rope swings, learn fire lighting and bushcraft. Or just put up a hammock and relax!
•Holiday Clubs: Our seasonal holiday clubs include outdoor fun, nature crafts and a campfire lunch. Free places are available to families with HAF vouchers.
•Nature Tots: Explore nature with your little ones – these sessions are the perfect opportunity to connect with nature in a hands-on way, with a range of different activities and a warm snack.
•School and Organisation Visits: Our safe, task-based activities are a chance to learn in our nature reserve, a green space near you, online or in your school or organisation. We offer a range of sessions for different ages, including Forest School activities. Learn new nature-based skills like willow weaving, den-building or going on a scavenger hunt. You can also learn about the climate-crisis and we will help you to make practical changes that help the environment too, like reusing and recycling things.
•Urban Wild Youth Group: Our outdoor youth group gets young people, aged 11-16, outside and trying out new skills like campfire cooking and bushcraft. We are particularly interested in supporting young people who are feeling isolated, experiencing pressure from peers or live within walking distance of the reserve.
