Service Description

Service Description:
M-PACT is a programme that helps parents and children / young people, aged 8-17, talk more openly and safely about the effects of parental drug and/or alcohol misuse on the whole family and gives them new tools to move forward positively. We start with an initial chat where you can find out more about M-PACT and we can answer any questions you might have. After that, if the programme is right for your family, you will come together for a session every week for 8 weeks with some other families in similar circumstances. M-PACT is run by people who understand how families are affected by drug and/or alcohol problems. They help make it possible for parents and children to understand each other better.
We’d love to work with your family if:
•One or both parents have suffered or are suffering from problems with alcohol or drugs
•Children are between the ages of 8-17 (although sometimes younger children will be considered)
